Shehla Chatoor, one of the shining names of the industry presented her collection named “Samsara” in the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week Pakistan. The ever increasing trend of silk dresses made designers focus much on silk designs this year. This is the 7th season of this great event being organized by Pakistan Fashion Design Council in association with Sunsilk. PFDC being the only Fashion Council of Pakistan was established in September 2006. It organizes various fashion shows every year helping out the designers to avail the wonderful opportunity to express their talent. Different designers compete for the best designs of the year.
Fashion shows are becoming an increasing trend of the era. Designers after designing their products follow various ways to launch them officially. Some of them organize exhibitions, events and functions others conduct fashion shows. These shows are conducted mostly in major cities including Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. One of the most popular shows in Pakistan is SFW. Popular designers launch their new arrivals officially in these shows. The event took place in Lahore being scheduled on a series of days from 10th to 13th of April, 2014. The well known names participating in the great event include Ali Xeeshan, Sania Maskatiya, Arsalan Iqbal, Mohsin Ali, Hina Butt, Maria B and many more.
